Default Anyone manage to get over 20,000 miles on a set of tires?

I chewed through the stockers by 16,000 miles and have eaten through a set of toyos now at 37,000 miles. I do a lot of highway driving and rarely drift but I do like to take turns aggressively. Any suggestions on what I should get (275/245 on 18") to last around 30k+ and still have good grip?

I'm at 15,800 and not an hint of abnormal wear. Tires look as good as the day I brought the Z home.

Im almost at 27000 the inside rears are pretty much gone but the outside is 70-80 percent or so... I had my fronts change at 10000 then had an alignment done twice and they seem to be holding up... I have new wheels now but Im keeping the stockies...

The rears have lasted me 10k miles. The fronts last me twice as much.

Generally all season tires have a higher tread wear rating than performance tires. You give up some performance but gain tread wear. One problem with all season is finding the proper sizes and speed rating.

Default Nitto NT 555

I bought my 2004 touring new from Performance Nissan with 18” NISMO LM GT4 and Nitto NT 555 - 275/245. The tires have over 42,000 miles mostly highway. I never had the stock ones, so I cannot compare the two. They have good grip and great wear. I will replace them soon with another set of Nittos.

How is your wet traction? And where do you buy Nittos? How much shipped?

Thinking about buying BFG KDW2s from tire rack in a year.

I'm at 30K miles and I'm still on the OEM Potenzas, they still have a good amount of tread on them. I'm going to replace them this year because i can't stand them.

48 miles to work one way, I don't drive her that much anymore though (got a 2nd car to beat on).

My rears wore out at a little over 8000 miles and I rarely drive with a heavy foot. I was more than happy to replace those horrible Potenza's.

I have some Nitto 555s and I'm almost to 30k and still have some tread left to go. I think I'm at ~28k but I'm pretty sure I'll surpass 30k without a problem.

I had the stocks til I got the feathering at 12k, bought my rims with Toyo T1-s and they lasted til 28K miles. Then I switched to Michelin PS2's. Ive had the PS2's in the rear for 25kmiles, the rears went out at 20k so i replaced the rear with Bridgeston RE050A's and they have about 3-5k left at which time i think I will go back to PS2's all around.

I just had my 35th @ the dealer for other reasons and it only has 6,500k on it and they told me I need new rear tires already. I barely drive it. Its my 2nd car. what gives?

Stockers lasted me about 10K... I switched to the Michilen Pilot A/S with a treadwear rating of 400. These were excellent tires, and I would still have them on the car (20K) but I got a nail in my front sidewall, and the rears were about bald, so I switched out all four. This time I'm going to try the Eagle F1 GS D3s...
