$275 seems high?
Does that sound like a lot just to have Hotchkis springs installed, labor only?
This doesn't include an alignment.
If somebody knows where the DIY for spring installation is hiding, that might be helpfull too, though I probably wouldn't have the ball$ to do it myself anyway..

A small shop privately owned here in Sonoma County that specializes in Nissan and Infinity vehicles.
That was the lowest so far. One guy quoted me $470 just for the install. I reframed from laughing and just hung up on him after saying, thanks, bye.

Install + alignment isn't TOO bad at $250, but see if you can't get it knocked down to $200. Alignment shouldn't be more than $80, which means $120 for install which is about right (1.5 hours @ $80/hr).
I got springs, sways, wheel mount/balance, and cutting fenders done at F1Motorsports in North Hollywood all for $600 *including* the price of the sways and springs. I thought it was a pretty good deal.

I wouldn't pay more than $50-75 for the install ... these cars are SO easy ... the back takes a total of 6 minutes, and that includes removing/replacing the rear wheels.
