Default Rims arrived (pics)

Rims arrived........ I still have NO TIRES, AK! Hopefully they will be coming around this Friday or Monday. They dont look big in the pictures but dayum these 19s are big in life! I originally thought the 2.25" lip would be too small, but it seems fine to me.

They are 35's which is the lease they come in. I will most likely run spacers to get it JUST inside the fender. I know I know, spacers are bad and blah blah blah. I have 100% confidence in the spacers since I personally will make them with my facilities.

hahaha

I run spacers on the rear of my wifes JETTA with NO issues at all. I asked someone very knowlegdable in the wheel indusrty and he tells me that if the spacers are GOOD quality and MADE for that car (Hubcentric) that there will NOT be problems.

I also learned that some companies like lorinser (high end MB wheels) use spacers for different fitments on MBs).

Cool

Wadd - How much did you pay for those rims? They are sweet!

What Sizes?

Are they 19x8.5 front and 19x10 rear.

They are the Axis Se7en Mod 1 piece wheel (not the custom 3 piece wheel that looks similar). In 19 inch, it only comes in an 8 inch width, but they make them in two different offsets so that the rear has a wider lip, but is actually the same size. It's an inexpensive way to get wheels that look like the 3 piece Mod but at almost $1000 less per wheel. I called Axis to see if they would make these in 8.5 wide front and 9.5 or 10 inch rear and they said no. Bummer. You can, however, get their new Supermesh in a staggered 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 for the 350Z. The rears are $400 each, and the fronts are a little less. You can see them at

www.spyengineering.com/spy/supermesh.html

I have no relation to this store, but was referred to them by Axis.

Hope this helps.

looks pretty nice, great price for some 19s too! full list price would only run $1560! fronts for us would have a 2.25" lip and the rears would have a fat 3"! odd that is only comes in a "Black Shadow" finish though

black shadow is much like a hyper silver. gives the kind of chromed effect. i think i'm purchasing those wheels next week.

Because they are narrow I am running 245 35s and 255 40s in the SO-3's.

The center cap is almost a holographic pieces. Its pretty neat and is NOT a sticker. Ithink if i remove the guts to it, I can prolly get it out. I may just make my own cap to go under the plastic.

Yes, its blue
