Default Pirelli P-ZERO CORSA

What do u guys think about these tires?

I was having some wheel spin issues with my P-Zero Rosso tires (295/30/19)

so i changed them to Micheline PS2 tires (295/30/19).

Now the car has traction in 3-4-5 but 1-2 gers are still making no traction.

Will the P-Zero Corsas help ? Anyone with experience in this tire?

I know they are not usable in rainy days .

If they are good enough for the Ferrari 360 Modena Challenge I would think they would be good for the Z. This is the softest tire available in a 19" as far as I know. Another member was looking at them, but I cannot remember his name. You may want to search for Pirelli or Corsa to see if you can find it. He may be able to tell you from experience.

one of the guys from VRT was putting them on his car, with a built motor, so you know its gonna test some tires.

lol at trying to find a street tire to give you traction in 1st or 2nd... Just looking at your mods, if you are getting traction in 3rd I would be very happy. It is going to be damn near impossible to find any street tire, especially for 19's, that will hook up.

If you don't drive your car in the rain i would suggest stepping down to 18's and running a drag radial like a nitto or BFG...

These are R compound tires and running R's on the street sucks. They throw up every pebble because they are so sticky. You will definately be anoyed by all the noise they make.

nothing will be better than the PS2's. i had the pirelli's, and the michelin's grip way better. they are literally at R-compound grip levels.

They use those tires at Willow Springs all the time and they perform excellent for road racing. Drag racing how ever may be a different story.

Man, what you need is a taller final drive!
(Unless its already in there in your coded sig?)

Get one from an AT (3.357) or even lower. You'll get more lag, but at least you'll be able to use your lower gears...

+1

I am also looking at doing the 3.3 final drive. Anything lower would have to be custom made and would cost a FORTUNE though.

I'd been thinking about getting a taller final drive. Where can i get a 3.3 final drive? I think the stock gear ratios are a little bit short for drag racing, especially 1st gear is too short for me.

Which tire of Pirelli did you try? If it is the Rossos, i wouldn't be suprised to hear that they sucked. If it is the Corsas, that would be suprising.
