Angry [PICS] WORK Wheels damaged my UPS

So I finally got my WORK EMOTION wheels. I open the boxed immediately and I notice that one rim is chipped.
Look at the damage!

Of course this is not how I expect my wheels to look like and I'm seriously pissed off and I need YOUR advice.
1.Only one wheel is damaged.
2.I waited 5 months for the wheels so waiting for another set is out of question.

All people who had similar experience with dealing with damaged goods please let me know how should I approach this whole situation.

Should I get money back from UPS ,repair the wheel on my own......???

File a claim through UPS for repair costs. Get them to pay to have it repaired.

Damn man, sorry to see that happened to you. I would say file a claim. You can expect it to take a long long long time to get resolved so get the wheel fixedon your own and just hope the claim goes through to compensate you for the out of pocket expenses

yes that is repairable. A good wheel shop should be able to take care of that. The hardest thing is the color matching.

I paid for them I got them and there is SOMETHING WRONG.
My responsibility ends there. What if this was factory defect?

Your other option might be to get a replacement wheel. It all just depends on which offset you bought. Work does stock some of the more common offsets. If you got the +20 though, you are out of luck as that is a special order only wheel.

It will probably be much less hassle to get it repaired than to get it replaced. But I would definitely nag UPS about the costs.

+20 from Z1. Any chance this might be a factory defect?

Man, sorry to hear bout your rim. I was in the same group buy and when my wheels arrived the boxes were beat-up as hell. Two of the boxes had holes on the sides and were taped over. I have a scrach on one of my rims but luckly it's on the inside of the rim and not on the lip. I would hope Adam will take care of it for you. Good luck man.

really odd, first time I see a wheel chiped like that, aluminum is not supposed to be so brittle... may be a manufacturing defect, there is no sign of misshandling, there is no deformation, no scrachtes, nothing.

I know exactly how you feel. MrTire damage both of my rear wheels trying to mount them. I got the cost for mounting free but spent the better part of the day trying to find touch-up paint.

I got the same wheels in bronze. Good luck trying to find that exact color anywhere. I'm having a professional painter try to mix some up.

If all else fails, and honestly the fastest solution is send it to a wheel repair place... Alot of them, especially for minor stuff only takes a couple of days...
