Ordered My Volks Finally!!!! But I Got A Question
Even though it was hard to part with the money, I can't wait till my Volks come in!! It sucks tho because i have to wait @ least 90 days to get them since they're coming from Japan and also since I ordered them in gunmetal, which isn't a standard color for them.
Question tho, the guy @ the shop I ordered them from said that I should also buy some tuner lugs and wheel locks that they had. But that would mean that anyone who has those wheel locks and lugs can swipe my wheels. Call me paranoid, but if i'm spending over $3k for these things, im gonna make sure they're secure.
Also, I was under the impression that Volks came with their own wheel locks.
Is this true?

get the rays dura lugs. they have them in long and short versions. I have the short versions. They come with a wheel locks and are much lighter and stronger . The wheel locks that come with them are different patterns for everyone so no one can just go out and buy a set and open it up with theirs. They are a little pricey (over a $100)...but I think they are worth it, IMO. Do a search on wheel locks and you should come up with some threads that should answer all your questions.

Oh yeah it also matters what type of Volks you bought. The GT-C's have a smaller diameter hole than others so the regular ones will not fit. Congrats on your new purchase!! I just got my TE37's on the other day and I love them!!

I don't understand your post. Unless F1 has a direct link to Volk, I thought everyone had to go through Mackin to get Volks. And Mackin doesn't have very many Volks in stock currently, much less my mercury silver GT-7's. They are set to arrive on 4/26. I ordered them on 2/6.

well remember he order the GTP which is a pretty old wheel so Mackin don't stock them anylonger.. Also he special order the color.. the wheels come with normal chrome lugs so if you want lock its optional. I would get the Rays Duraluminum lugs/lock...
