Default educate me about aftermarket wheels for my Z

I'm thinking about buying a set. A couple of questions pops to mind. First, will the tire pressure sensors transfer to new wheels. Second, I'm guessing I need 18" x 8.5 and 18" x 9.5 for my Touring model. Do I also have to worry about offset? Third, what are some things to watch for when buying aftermarket wheels? Finally, is there a site where you can see pics of Z's with different style wheels?

Thanks.

To learn about wheels study the wheel forum. Depending on the width and offset, the possibilities are endless. For photos check the gallery here.

DavidV,
You seem to be up to speed on all things 350Z, so I was wondering if you knew if anyone makes wheels for the Z similar to the SVT Mustang wheels?
I searched through about 90 sets of rims in tirerack.com and frankly didn't see anything remotely better than the stock wheels. Most look either too ricerish or too pimpish for our vehicles...

Thoughts?

Not Mustang wheels per se, but something with a more aggressive stance similar to that style. I've seen a type of wheel (Kregars?) on some restored muscle cars and they give the vehicle a much better look IMHO. But I guess I just need to do like you tell everybody else and "search the forums..."

thanks!

See the Picture share for "Show me your wheels".

There is about 32.43 pages of wheel pictures. Find some you like. I'm sure 95% of the wheels in that thread will look better than mustang or "muscle car" wheels on your Z.

HRE 545R's remind me of the Mustang Cobra wheels... and you'd still get props from Z owners for them.

You mean Crager. Check here to see if they make wheels that fit the 350Z:

Bow all you want, but probably the only Cragar wheels that are going to fit (and look remotely normal) are the 18x9 wheels they have on there (Sprint Series). And those are almost identical to the 2006 base Z wheels...
