I am curious if I can run 255 on the front rims instead of only 245? I know someone on here was running 275 I think on the 18's or 17's but same width rims. will there be a really large buldge? How would it affect the ride/handling if I got them on there?

From what I had researched, about the largest tires to put on the stock 17s are 245/45 17 up front and 255/45 17 in the back. Go here and play around with tire sizes to see what size wheel they will fit.

What is the OEM tire width . I recommend OEM width + 20mm but no more.

The fronts are 7.5" and the rears are 8".

Most tire manufactures have a chart for each tire to tell you what width wheel it is compatible with. For example, here is the chart for the Bridgestone RE040.
