Use a torque bar. I used one of those digital ones that read how many lbs of TRQ. Go with about 110lbs. Or tighten them by hand, and go about a 1/2 turn past full hand tightness.

And take it easy, the nuts are almost as big as the holes. Don't scuff the wheel with the socket and torque bar trying to be fast. I did on my first one. And yes the lugs will strip if you go with power tools. Just hand tightening, you could see some of the edges have stripped.

Besides that you should be fine.

Its weird - I had absolutely no problem for the first couple of months, but now I have some rubbing (like many others I have +18 275 with Toyo T1R's). I am assuming its because my springs have settled over that period of time, even tho' it seems like a long time
Anyway, now it looks like I going to have to get my fenders rolled after all.

How do you guys like your wheels? After a year, I still love them. They look great.

My best compliment was from a guy in an F430. "Sick wheels man. Love that back lip." He said "I bet they're heavy though." I told him "These are Volks, probably lighter than your stocks." Lol.

And you would have probably been wrong and sounded cocky if thats how you said it.

The GT-S are heavy wheels. Volks or not.

I weighed mine personally. 28lbs up front. 31lbs on the rears. That's pretty light for a 19'' wheel of this design. I'm sure it's pretty close to a set of Ferrari wheels that are 20 x 11.

If you play Forza 2, when you go through wheel choices almost all the aftermarket wheels reduce weights compared to stock.

Thank you andy!

It's been a year since I weighed them. Proof that they are light!

I guess when I weighed the wheels they hadn't been to the bathroom.

Glad this thread came up. IMO its the most aggressive and nicest looking set of wheel of all the Volks.

Everyone seems to jump back on the S-Challenge b/c its more detailed(hash marks), but people don't even mention on the details of the spoke itself, and for that the GT-S wins.

The challenges spokes looks round/curvy while the GT-S spokes is much more rigid/sharper and has cooler lines. If you look at the GT-S with the sun shining at it, it just look soo sexy since you can see all the details on the spokes.

you also got your self a cleaner looking wheels with killer lips.
