In for pics as well. That's the rear setup I'm saving for.

Default Cleaning LMGT4s

Just wondering how you guys keep your wheels immaculate. I claybarred the sh*t out of mine as soon as I got them and applied a coat of wax. Most of the impurities came off the finish but, I still see some black and brown dots here and there. Perhaps my claybar went to sh*t so I will get a new one. Any suggestions on how to get discoloration, deep seated dirt and grim inside the lug holes, etc, off? I read the "How To Maintain Your RAYS Wheels!" thread, but just wanna hear what you all have to say.

I just treat them the same way as I do my paint.

I wash them with turtle wax car wash soap and water, drive around the block to remove the water after rinsing them and followup with Mothers Quick Detailer after they are dry.

Yeah I do the same but some stuff just won't come off. I still have some brown and black spots here and there, plus the discoloration inside the lug holes. Simple Green maybe?

Just use soap and water you'll be good. Again, never use any products besides soap and water!

I don't think I've ever washed mine more than a couple times. Then again, I never drive the stupid thing.

The thing I really loved about the LMGT4's was that they cleaned off so easily. I always washed all four of my rims before my brother was done one of his BBS CH's.

Also, you definitely shouldn't sell something you've only cleaned twice, at least track the car with them to see how you like them.

Try a wheel cleaner that uses an organic acidic active ingredient like Oxilic Acid - derived from pepper - which is strong but very safe to use on the wheels.

If that fails try something like Tariminator.

5 years old and washed about 2-3 months ago...

Sorry Aados, we had to intervene.

His setup looks too good to let him take a loss on them.

Got the spacers on, Eibach springs on and fenders rolled. It's getting there little by little They said they got the alignment as close as they could but would need to get the camber kits to get it more dialed in. Also, they had to swap out my 20mm spacers on the front for 15mm as the tires were rubbing. The 25mm spacers in the back are fine with no rubbing.

Thanks Waizzz. Yeah, luckily they had 15mm spacers on hand that they could trade me for.
