i like the setup, i've run them for 3 sets of tires. i am looking at some new wheels though, mainly due to the fact that i have to run spacers on these(5mm front, 10mm rear) and given the abuse it takes i just don't feel 100% safe(i'm pretty **** about mechanical safety). the next setup will be a 9.5/10.5 285/295 setup, or 17's.

I was thinking about a 9.5 / 10.5 or a square setup depending. I wish I could find some wide 17"s with decent offsets to help save on tires.

Good info. That is the same way I feel. I left the spacers on my last HPDE event because without them my wheels are so close to my BBK it makes me nervous.

my only problem with 17's is you really are limited to a 275. anything wider than that and you run into aspect ratio issues--too tall or too short. the fno1's are too wide, the rpf1's have the goofy barrel issues, there really isn't a great 17 scenario.

What are your camber specs?
Waizzz - I'm liking the izzle thing. I bet we could get it to catch on.
