Punctured Tire Repair?

So it seems that a nail punctured through my tires and air has been leaking slowly (not a Z). I just noticed it today and filled it up again but now I'm worried about how to fix it. I'm reading that plug-in-repair methods are improper and will cause further damage. Is this really something I need to worry about? Do I need to take it to a wheel/tire shop and have them take off the tire and properly fix it? Also, around how much would that cost? BTW, the car is a 03 Accord Coupe and the tires are Yokohama 205/65/15. The tires were bought around 6 months ago and still have a lot of tread on them.
Thanks
Thanks
If you can take it to where you bought the tires, they might fix em' free. Discount tire fixes flats for free. NTB does it for about $20.00.
A plug is a temp fix. The correct/permanent way to fix a puncture is to patch it.

I bought it from my cousin who works at a Toyota dealership for a cheaper price...so they probably won't help.
I'll see if there's a Discount Tire around here. Thanks

get the continental ContiComfort Kit...it's a air compressor and it also has a latex based, water soluable sealant if you totally lose all of your air....it's like the size of a lunch box and it is what comes iwth the Z06 and Ford Gt

I already went to BP and put some air in it. I'm just looking to get it permanently repaired now... DTD is around 8 mi from my house and NTB is around 7. I don't know which one would be a better place to go to.

Ok, free repair at DTD vs. $23 at NTB.
Hmm hard decision.
Also, do you think I can drive 8 miles on the tire or should I put to spare on it....I don't feel like lifting the car today
