Which Axis setup would you go with?
Both setups include the following... tax, wheels, tires, mounting, shipping, balancing, lugs etc. on my 2006 Redline
Option 1...
$2,800 8.5x 19" silver Axis Hiro with 245/35/19 up front and 10.5" 305/30/19 rear.
or
option 2...
$2,400 8.5" silver Axis Hiro's with 245/35/19's and 275/35/19's mounted on 9.5"
I might be able to get option #2 for $2,200 total

if you went with #1 you would need to get your rear fenders rolled plus you would be better off with 255/35/19's in the front with that setup. unless your F/I i think the 305/30/19 setup is overkill.

Yes it is overkill but it looks sick
I know the right thing to do is to just go with the 8.5's and 9.5's but I'm hoping people will say go for the 305's
Ok maybe not. I'm confused.
There is a guy actually a few but one guy who is running a 9.5" rear Hiro with a 25 offset, with a 275/35/19 he says he didn't have to roll or cut his fenders and that he has about 1/4" clearance.
According the My 350z offset calculator the 10.5 with a 35 offset, would only be 3mm closer to the fender than what he has. Which basicaly means you'd probably have to grind off a couple of mm's or so.
This confuses me because a lot of people say that the 10.5 Hiro's are too tucked in and some opt for the 9.5"'s. Sounds like they are less tucked in than the 9.5" with 25 offset??
My HEAD HURTS!

The dude accepted my offer!!!!!!!!!
So now I have a set of brand new 8.5"x19 20 offset and 9.5"x19 25 offset Hiro's soon to be on their way.
Damn now I need tires

I have the 19x10.5 and yes they are a little tucked, i actualyl want to get like a 5mm spacer. I run a 285 tire and am nowhere near the fender and Im lowered in the rear 1.2" with tanabe springs. You should be able to get a 305 int here with no issues.

Were you able to transfer the Tire pressure sensors to your new wheels?
I have heard that people say you can use the PSI sensors in the Hiro's??
In the past year I would have to say that Axis has really stepped up their quality of wheels. I love mine. Granted that there was a few cracked Hiros it could have just been a design flaw or the casting manufacturer they were using.
