HELP! White 'haze' on Rims
OK I just got back from a week at the beach and had my car washed. YES, I took it to a car wash! yes I know a No No, but I had way too much sand and gunk on the car to leave it! Woke up today and noticed this white 'haze' on one of the rims. All the rims have a small amount, but this one is the worst!. Is there anything I can do to fix them??? They are the PIAA Supper Rozza in Gloss Black.
I have searched and see a few folks with a similar issue, but no one has posted Pics and no one seems to have a good solution. I hope these pictures help!

I had the same problem on my iForged wheels, except it was the ENTIRE wheel because it was the high polish finish. Anyways, I used a Mother's Aluminum polish and a lot of hard work and elbow grease to get those spots out. One rag to wax on, one to wax off. I really had to work it in to see good results. You may want to check what is safe for clearcoat finishes if you got one. My fingers still hurt from the rivets! Good Luck!
The haze is:
a. Damage from high salt content in the air
b. Harsh detergent
c. Hard water (mineral) deposits
Any of the many metal polishes recommended in the detailing forum will help.

Try wheel wax. Does wonders. When you do, treat it like a polish. It's a lot of work, but should get most, if not all of it off. Unless ofcourse you have clear coat damage. But I doubt it on the PIAAs since they are not anodized like Volks.

if the clear coat is fcked, no need to try anything. Most direct course of action is to take it to a wheel shop and have all the lips sanded down and repolished, and re clear coated. This is not aluminum where u can just polish it all off. Seems like the harsh wheel cleaners they used ate ur clearcoat.

OK I placed an order and had it over nighted as I couldn't wait. All I can say is WOW!!!! What a difference. Like I said, I have tried every other polish and NOTHING helped except for Wheele wax!!
There is still a little haze on them, but this was just one application!
Here are the before and after!
