Default Work CR Kai 18x9.5 +12 All around? Tires?

I've been eyeing these wheels for awhile now and i have several questions. Also i've seend several memebers with these wheels and specs but lack of info.

What tire specs would be needed to keep TCS happy?
Can 35 or even 30 series tires be used?
Tire width, 245/275 rear, with either falken or BFG a good choice?
TPS still retained?
Spacer needed to be flush with body?

I have more questions but i forgot most of them in a very short period. And if anyone else can provide pics of this setup it would highly appreciated.

why +12? +18 would work fine for the front, and +18 in the rear too. The +12 woudl push it too close the the fender and you'd have to run 225 or 235 tires all around.

there are no +18 offsets for these wheels....

it's +12, +20, +30

yea..with plus 12 ...you'd be stretching your tires like crazy....if you don't want to do any fender modification....

even with 18x9.5 +20 up front..you might have to do fender mod. but i'm not too sure.....

i think someone has 18x9.5 +20 up front with falken tires and no fender mod because falken measurements are lower than other companies......

these wheels are the ****!!!!!!!! i just ordered a set from Logan @Aspec

18X9.5 w/ +12 will probably fit in the front.
18 X 9.5 w/ a +20 will probably fit in the rear. Youll have to run 10mm smaller on tires though. Thats not that bad. so 235F, 265R

Ur absolutely right. lol. I forgot the tires aren't staggered 1 inch. In that case, 9.5 +12 in the rear and 9.5 +20 in the front.

I would forget about keeping the VDC happy. Run 255/35s all around and "make them" fit. Fronts would be pretty flush but I'd run a 10-15mm spacer for the rears.

I Have an Enth. so no VDC, nor would i want it, what i'm worried about is TCS. You should know, Jersey can have some ****ty weather and once the roads get slick its no fun. But do you have this setup?

I'm running:

Work CR Kai 18X9.5 +20 on all 4 wheels
tire: BFG KWD's front: 245/35/18, Rear: 275/35/18
springs: Hotckis

no rubbing, no problems with TCS (I have an enthus model, so no VDC)

I just put these on and am waiting to takes pics once I finish another install and get the car washed...overall I love the set-up. (there's more road noise from the tires...but I assume it's the 35 profile that caused it)

I think the front and rear wheels look flush with the fenders (even my wife commented on how they look 'flush' ). The only thing that I think would look better is if I could lower the car another 1"...just started looking into coilovers.

^ well there you go. On hotchkis springs, you' definatley need an inch more . I have the XD9s and was concidering these..but they have the same profile and i need to be lowered like 1.2-1.4 inches.
Btw, can you post pictures up? I want to see what 35 series tires look like.

Hows the clearance, any rubbing so far? Also what color rims are they? I was interested in +12 offset all around from looking at another memebers pics. So far smellslikecurry is the only meber that has posted pics of his setup with such an aggressive setup. But i'll wait till you put some pics up, ETA?

the color is gunmetal. ETA on pics...probably a week or so (just found out that I'm working Satruday again - don't mind the extra $$, but now I just don't have the time to enjoy it)...I could run out and take some pics with my phone - but the resolution is failry low.

rubbing issues: none (I've taken it on a few hard drives, trying to get hard cornering to see if it'll rub...this was down with a full tank of gas and a passenger)

I'm fairly sure that you'd have to roll your fenders if you went with a +12mm offset and were lowered...if you weren't lowered you could probably get away with it, but it wouldn't look as nice.

u can fit 245s fine in the front and 275s fine in the rear with some fender work...the fronts need no fender work...im slammed more than an inch tucking tire and it fits fine...

I am going to be running this setup on 18x10 +18 XD9s all around. But they should have the same distance to fender clearance as 18x9.5 +12 CR kais. Yeah, jersey does have some ****ty weather but I've had my VDC/TCS disabled since the spring. I just throw my stock wheels/tires and enable the VDC/TCS when the weather starts getting bad in the winter time.

Id run the +12s all around. It will fit - dont let anybody tell you otherwise. Yes some camber/fender rolling or trimming may help, but it will look perfect. Too many people on here are too conservative IMO. Be sure to post pics when done!

Could you post better pics? I've been trying to see better pics and also what are you tire specs?
