Default Offset... How much is too much?

So I picked up some SF-Winnings to replace my RT5s. And wow... the offset. Is this going to be waaaaaay too much? I am worried about mounting tires on them just in case I need to return them. All insightful comments appreciated.

I think Rick at Status is running offsets (or even wider wheels) that stick out as far on his Z. His tires do have a stretch to them though.

I picked these up from Rick. I guess if anyone would know what works he would.

I think you will find the link below useful. He is running the exact size/offset on a G and looks HOT! You can thank me later.

I'd go for it......stretch the tires a bit and it won't look like it's sticking out as far as it does with no tire at all....nice choice!

I'm running into the same problem as you if you saw my thread. My rear offset is LESS aggressive, at +21. (lol.... now +21 is looking moderate). Talk to Status on your options. Rick is extemely helpful. I think you'll have to go with a 275 series tire and also may have to roll those fenders. I tried 285 and I was sticking out about 5mm.... I would assume with your lower offset, you might stick out just barely on a 275 tire. 275 toyo TR1s will have a slight stretch, but not as bad as some other tires and you cant really tell either.
