Default Fitment Of A 305 On A 10.5/22 Offset Lowered

I am dropped about 1.25" in the rear, and 1" in the front. I am looking to get a set of 9.5" +22 front wheels w a 265/35 tire, and a 10.5" +22 rear wheels with a 305/30 in the back. Does anyone know from experience if these will fit. My fender lips are rolled. I'm not looking for magic tricks like 4 degrees negative camber to make them work. If they fit lowered with the camber in spec please let me know.

Jetpilot, what are you typed in? Me, nothing yet, just complex with a CSEL ticket.

Ok, not exactly your setup but close. I am running Eibach Pro-kit springs with about a 1.2" drop in the rear, 10" wide with a +18 and 275/40 Falken's. No roll and no rub, but dang it's close.

Hope this helps!

Should fit in well. Give it a shot. I highly doubt there will be rubbign issues.

265/305 setup will not work with your setup if you don't pull your fenders 10mm+ out or if you keep the stock alignment specs. The 265 would work if you raised your car up a little or dial in a little more negative camber in the front. A 305 in the rear would most likely require around -3 camber and some widening of the fenders. Hope this helps.

Post up the results if you decide to do this. I'm happy with my 255/285/35 setup, but would love a 265/305 setup without sacrificing straight line performance or modifications to the fenders. I think the biggest tires on a lowered Z without having to modify the fenders is 265/35 295/30 ...

VRT runs 305's on the NISMO LM4's which is x9 in rear I believe.

Tire Manufacturer's state their recommendations based on the capacities of the individual tire ... however you can run much higher and much lower than what is stated.

JET -- StatusAuto has a few guys with 275/30/19 F and I have seen a few guys with the 305/30 R on the same 9.5, 10.5 +22, so you shouldn't have a problem.

315/30/18 on an 18" x 9.5" wheel. In the old Hoosiers, we ran a 305/30/18 though.

I checked the rim width chart for a Michelin 305/35/19 tire and the minimum recomended rim width for that size is 10.5". So no issues there. The minimum rim width for the 265 was a 9" wheel. No problems there either.

I think I will keep the wheels I have now.

Does anyone think I will have an issue with a 305/30/19 rear on a 10.5" with a +28 offset? Or a 265/30/19 front on a 9" rim with a +31 offset? Remember... I'm lowered considerably.

305's on 9.5 and higher offset will fit, but he's talking about a 10.5 with a 22+ offset.

I think I am also gonna try running 265/305 when I wear out my current tires which are 255/295.

5 minute search provided me these picture links ... this was a 305/25 on a x10.5 +28 .... http://s45.photobucket.com/albums/f8...t=20#imgAnch29

this is a 275/30 on a x9.5 +22 for the front ...

this is a 265/35 on a x9 +35 for front ...

this is a 305/30 on a x11 +30 (which is the same as a x10.5 +24) ...

I personally like the 265/275 setup for handling for cars with 300whp or less ... being the power JET has, the 275/295 should be nice given the appropriate offsets.

Thanks Drumma. I ordered a 275/30/19 front and a 305/30/19 rear. Looking at the pics you posted I should be good with those sizes.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier....

I am typed in the 727, and the DC8-70 series. The mighty 8. I no longer fly the 8. I'm in the 727 now, and I am being moved into the Airbus A300. Oh how I love the 727. Great airplane.

The 305 on 11 example above is mine. It's actually +28 rear and the outside of the rim will be the same as your 10.5 +22. I'm lowered similar to yours, with rolled fenders. Michellins are slightly wider than Pirellis on an 11 so at 10.5 I think your setup will be fine. I rub slightly on the inside on real steep angles. You shouldn't have that problem.
My front is 275/30 on 9.5 +30 no rubbing. Michellins being wider and your offset difference I would think it would be tight.
Good Luck, post pics when you're done.

I've posted my setup a couple time but I HAVE NO RUBBING AT all.

Eibach prokit 1" or so frnt and bck

265/30/19 on 19x9 with +26 offset, not even close to rubbing in anyway.
295/30/19 on 19x10 with +22 offset, just barely gets by fender after I rolled and pulled the **** out of them, camber is aligned. 305 with +22mm offset will be ****ty unless more camber is ran

I decided to keep my rims and will be running 275/30/19 on the front mounted on a 9" +26 offset and a 305/30/19 on a 10.5" +28 wheel. This should work fine from what everyone is telling me. Agreed?
