Default Missing a ring off one of my Volks

Putting my ZR back in storage and noticed one of my Volks was missing the little O-ring that fits on the inside of the wheel where the center cap is located.

My other (3) Volks have one. My question is, do I need these rings? When I put my factory 18" OEM wheels on they did not need the ring? I even tried putting the OEM wheels over one fo the rings and the wheel would not go on.

Whats crazy is I must have driven on my road trip (1000 miles) without one of those rings. hmmmm!

hubcentric rings im guessing. you need them for the volks. otherwise that wheel will start shaking at high speeds.

I'm sure Mackin would send you one. Volks are hubcentric wheels, the center bores need centering adapters for some vehicles. As long as the lugs are put on logically the wheel should not vibrate without the centering ring.

Mackin, you have an e-mail or website?

Thanks, I e-mailed them both. I probably never had one to begin with, and probably never even noticed it. I didn't even know I had them on the wheels!

I think it's a 73.1 to 66 adapter.

From a fellow Z enthusiast. The folks who took his wheels off probably lost one of the rings and I never even noticed one of them was missing until today.

So I just got some te37s but don't know the size of the hubcentric ring to get. Where on the wheel do I look? Are they all 73.1 to 66 adapter like rookie stated above?
