Default Tps Help!!!!

okay so i just bought some used rims from a guy that told me he had the tps installed in the rims and that they worked on his 2005. i have a 2006 and the tps isn't registering on my Z. all rims are on correctly, as far as direction goes. I am resetting my battery right now to see if this will work. other than that. i have no clue as to what to do to make my tps register and make that damn flat tire light go off. please help or give me some ideas as to why it isn't reading.

You need to take the car to the dealer to have them recalibrate the TPS. The only TPS sensors that will automatically register on your car are your stock ones. If you change them out, as you evidently have, you will need them recalibrated so that the ECU sees them.

The sensors have a unique ID that the computer recognizes. If you replace one or all of them, then the computer no longer sees that ID number. The dealer will re-register then new sensors to the computer and you'll be good after that.

Just depends on how nice your dealer is. Some will do for free since it takes a hole 10mins to do.
