(18 in) + ((295 mm * .40) * 2) = 27.2913386 in
(15 in) + ((295 mm * .65) * 2) = 30.0984252 in

not buying blindly. I needed a DR that's wider than 275, next is 295, that's the only available one.

so what you are saying that 295 is not the width it's a combination of everything? so what tire would you suggest I get then?

more importantly: will this fit or will I need to settle for a 275 tire?

Sorry, I edited my message since it was a bit harsh .

295 is the width, but that's not the problem here. Take a look at this - required reading for anyone buying tires.

Sounds like you're picking your tire sizes like your picking lotery numbers ! Lol

If the cryptic tire size equations don't stick, most manufacturer will give the tire overal diameter along with the tire spec. Aim for ~26.7 inches.
