What rims did Volk copy? That's fine that BBS created the process of forged magnesium, but its not like Volk took a BBS rim design, made it exactly the same and just named it differently...using the same forging process as another company isnt like actually stealing a design from another manufacturer...the only volks rim i could see that remotely resembles a BBS would be a mesh-style rim, but most mesh rims look similar anyways...and the Volk mesh rims such as the Volk Winnings and Volk III's couldnt be mistaken for BBS rims, the designs are different.

 

The Volk Winning, GTA, and LE37K look strikingly similar to BBS style rims.....Quit trying to defend Volk, you dont work for them do you? They are not the end all of rims.....When it comes down to it, rims are rims. They create a seal for a tire and attach to a hub. Volks are nice rims, but so are a lot of other brands.

 

Personally I dont see how anyone could mistake Winnings, GT-A's, or LE37K's for BBS, theyre all mesh style rims, but dont look the same...and i dont see why it should bother you that I defend Volks when people make negative comments about them, wouldnt you do the same for the rims you have?? And I never said Volks were the end all of rims, I simply said theyre lighter and stronger than ADR's, and are well worth paying a little more for.
