how soon before discoloration from brake heat?

possible brake failure due to lack of airflow?

wonder how much they weigh...if they're actually strong enough and could take the abuse as normal performance rims, it might be worth it. Wonder what the melting temp is?

Probably come with a disclaimer saying they are for show use only. This way you drive to the show on regular wheels and put these on when you get there to show off your BBk or suspension or something.

Just because they might be for show though doesn't mean that people won't use them like regular wheels

just waiting for the polycarb acetal to melt, warp, crack, or deform. then the a$$ clown who bought them will go on and sue for the fact that it's not safe. NO SHIET it's NOT safe. anyone who has a brain can tell that's not safe.

Lol...that's actually pretty cool. I think a good idea would be to cut the clear part into spokes and paint it with a transparent coat of color (black, gunmetal?) but enough to see through it still. And the rear should be staggered of course, I think it has a chance.

Um, this is almost as bad as those L337 computer G4MERZ who have clear tower cases with neon lights... (The "ricers" of the computer world)
