Default Flat tire on volks

what happens when you get a nasty blowout? would you be riding on rims? I have toyos and I don't think they're run-flats.

Wheels can survive a 60 MPH tire failure. Pull to the side of the roadway and the wheel should be fine. Just don't expect to drive home.

BTW the latest trend is putting the wrong size tires on the wrong wheels. I think that members call it the stretched look. It might look cool but do not expect the tire to stay on the wheel.

happened to me on Ventura@40mph ... just pull over ... I managed to go (edit-crawl) the extra .5miles home on a flat and my C4s were unscathed.

I had a nasty blowout from the inside of the tire. It was dumb of me to try to get home but I was one town away from my home on the highway so I "TRIED"...the car just kept getting worse and worse..it started shaking so I just pulled over AT my home exit (I live about 1/10 mile from the exit). The rim was fine but the tire (toyo t1-r) was totally torn up. Had to get the spare on and wait for the after the weekend to get a new tire because no place had those sizes in stock.

it happens, just pray that your forged barrels will stand up to ~1/4 the weight of the car without bending...

you should be able to control the car unless you're going crazy fast as mentioned.
