25 lbs isnt that heavy for a 19x10.5 given that the TE37 only saves 4 lbs in that same size.
Here is what I weighed mine at:
SF-Challenge:
19x9.5 +11 26.9 lbs
19x10.5 +11 27.5 lbs

Good point. I'm still thinking of my s2000 days when 13lb 16" spoons were the wheel of choice - but they certainly weren't 9.5/10.5 inches wide never mind 19" in diameter.
The SF-Challenges seem like a fantastic blend of performance and looks. I see people say they are expensive but when you consider what you are getting for the money I'd say they are pretty reasonable.
Now if you'll excuse me I have to get back to my pole dancing, I've only got enough for the front left rim so far

I'm running the stock 18's on the Touring Roadster which I have heard weigh about 28lbs each, so overall the rim weight of the Challenges should be less based on the info people have been nice enough to post here.
Are you comparing the SF Challenges to the Stock performance wheels? If so then I see what you are saying as the peformance weigh 18lbs right? Or are you saying that all the extra rubber kills performance too?
Obviously you are talking from experience as I see you have them on your ride, I'm just wondering what stock configuration and factors you are referring to with the above statement.
Many thanks

He he, now there is some real world info - thanks for those photos Andy.
Anyone have any idea of how unsprung weight relates to power, I heard something like 6lbs of unsprung weight will cost you 1hp at the wheels - anyone else heard something along those lines?

when I first got the SF challenges, I noticed immediately I had to rev a bit higher to get the car moving. Not to mention it was harder to break traction especially on launches.
then I finally realized just how heavy they are when my friend with a revup with only popcharger, nismo exhaust and a technosquare reflash was consistently trapping 5MPH higher than me in the 1/4 mile.
5MPH is a LOT of power difference, and I attribute a good portion of that to the rims.
19's also have increased rotational inertia compared to 18's even if they are the same weight.
