Default Wheel Size question.

I just recently purchased the veilside v3 widebody kit for the Z, and i am having some trouble with wheel specs. the recommended is 20x9 with a +18 in the front and a 20x11 in the back with a -18. im kinda thrown on getting a 20in tire thats going to be tracked but i also dont want the kit to look goofy without a larger tire. any suggestions? im not real good with offsets either so any help on that also would be appriciated.

Tires: Match the OEM tire height using a calculator such as this: http://www.dakota-truck.net/TIRECALC/tirecalc.html.

Use a offset calculator to compare your current wheels to the new wheels. With the new dimensions, check the car with a tape. Do you clear the suspension, brakes calipers and fenders? Reference: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

Question

Did you use the calculators that I suggested? What did you find?

If you're truly serious about tracking your Z, why are you set on going with 20's? A wheel that large will be heavy and the additional weight will really hurt acceleration, braking and cornering. In addition, the tire selection will be limited and costly.

IMHO 20" wheels at this point in their evolution are more about bling than performance. You get to choose...
