Arrow Feeling Kinda Low Today..........

But's that a Good Thing. Cause' so is my Z!!! EIBACHS Installed!

Here's a couple of pics during the install. (Thanks to my boys up at The Shop, always comin through for me!) I can in all honesty say that some of the 'bounce' has subsided, and handling is improved (lower center of gravity!)
I'm about to head out and get my "Party On" so I'll post up some more pics later...

Up-see-daisy!!!

Yep! That's an Eibach back there.

Careful with those StopTechs!

How the Z was meant to sit!

Now here's where you can really tell the improvement. In the rear!!!

245/35/19 and 275/35/19. I don't think the tires have anything to do about it, look at the wheelwell to rim/tire distance. I am NOT complaining, I will tell you that.

Yes, Ive noticed that also. I wish someone would put a SIDE BY SIDE shot of thier car before and after. Or at least park next to a stock height Z. I still cant tell the difference from stock height. I think that would help.

But regardless the car looks great TX

I can definetly tell his is LOWER than it use to be (looking at his old pics in the wheel gallery), just not over done (which is a good thing)

yeah rod i was going to ask what kind of suspension you had there. it def looks lowered. guess its all good!
TX, did you only change out the springs, or did you do the shocks as well. cuz if you did just the springs, arent you gonna have to install shocks soon anyway?

TXStyle - you really need to paint the rear calipers red if your not going to get the rear stoptech calipers.

Not yet. Based on my personal experience with previous suspension setups (Lexus, Cobra, Vette) and my shops advice/expertise, I'm gonna hold off. The fact of the matter is guys, is with this minor of a drop and the factory suspension quality, my (or yours) shocks will NOT wear out any quicker than they would with the stock springs! If so, it will be so far down the road and VERY near the time when they normally would. I will concede that getting the whole coilover or shock/spring combo is "ideal" but NOT neccesary. T least not for me at this time. I am so extactic about the "Look and Less Bounce" that I am rolling around like this...... !

Yes it WAS.........! That's how it was meant, going and now does look!

I can't justify the additional 'cheddar' for rear brakes when they would be strictly for show! I've been kinda "dragging my a**" on painting my rears (gonna be using the BEST stuff money can buy) but it'll be done this week!
I think RodH's car looks pretty normal. I will say (based on experience) this type of wheel/5-spoke design appears larger to the eye, and thus gives the lowered effect.

Hi, TX! Just wondering did you had to get it align after the spring is installed? and if you did, did you go with the stock setting? thanks!

unlike a macpherson strut suspension, the strut/spring on the Z does not directly affect any alignment setting so theres should be no change to the previous unlowered alignment. It does indirewctly affect your camber, but there is no adjustment for this without a camber kit

The high-temp caliper paint should be either Foliatec or G2 (I have now read where the G2 will hold up to 900+ degrees!)

Like Krinkov said, there really is squat an allignment can do. BUT! I will be looking into one at any rate.
