Subaru does it all the time with their STi line. IMO, Gold looks the best with DB or PPW...my car is silverstone too and I thought about this scheme for awhile but caved in the gunmetal at the end.

I don't have pics of diamond black but trust me man if you are wanting to go black you are better off with flat black. The diamond black is too shinny.

I know it's not the SF, but it's the best picture I have that shows the true color of Diamond Black. I guess at the end it's really what you want your car to look like..I got the GT-S in gunmetal and it pretty much matches the color of silverstone dead on. The color seems to get darker as the evening get later. The gloss black and Diamond black IMO looks better on superblack Zs because they match the color of the car. I think gunmetal even looks good on superblack:

But all said and done why there are more gunmetal on silver cars is because well...it's the best color scheme.

i totally understand you with the color matching thing....

but like i said everyone around here does black on black or silver on gun-metal.

i was just looking to be different and unique in my own way.....
but gold is not the way to go i guess....

will have to settle with black,gun-metal or silver......

and im not a big fan of chrome either count that out.

Man I went through the same thing as you did, but at the end gave in to "dark side". Gold really is not horrible on silver, just not the best. IMO, if you are going to go Volks with a polished barrel, then go with something non gloss for the spokes if you are going with the subtle look.

Best site that helped me was

http://www.zmodified.com/gallery/index.php

you can even filter to see only silverstone cars.
