Default Amuse CE28 wheels

Does anyone know what size the CE28's on the Powerhouse amuse 350Z are?

I could be wrong but I believe they were running 19x10.5" all around.

Correction, they are actually 18x10.5" all around, not 19x10.5".

18x10.5" +22, 265/35/18
18x10.5" +18, 265/35/18

Are you positive about that? Because i'm trying to replicate the car as closely as possible. Thanks.

18's for sure. 19's would defeat the purpose of a track car. If correct 17" diameter tires were available they may have used them instead.

actually i believe they previously ran the 18" ce28's in 10.5 at the beginning, now they have seemed to switch to the 19" version in 9.5 and 10.5 as well.

The Amuse car went through several variations. I think the first variation had CE28N 18x9.5 +15 and 18x10.5 +18. Good luck trying to replicate it, its going to cost and arm and a leg. I know the kit costed me a pretty penny.

I'm interested in this topic, I really like this look. Here is a collage I put together. The last pic is a forum members 18's CE28s for comparison.

This is really fuking with my mind now! For some reason the 18's on the amuse car look awesome, but when you put them on a stock Z they don't look as good. I suppose when the car is lowered, with a bodykit, and you've got an aggressive offset, it looks totally different. I just want to be sure that the wheels in the above pics are 18's and not 19's.

Do whatever you think looks best. Copying someone else's ride isn't gonna get you mad props or anything.

Yeah I know. I just wanted to try and get it as close as possible. I'm not so worried about what other people think, i just don't want to fork out 2 and a half grand and then realise, "****, i should've gone with the bigger ones".

hyper rev magazine has the specs listed out for the amuse 350z. i'll see if i can scan it, it clearly states 19's.

i believe the above pics, with the exception of the stock z at the bottom are all on 19" ce28's.

i think this was when the amuse z had the 18's on there before they upped to 19's:

as you can see, the wheel itself does not fill out the wheel well as much as the above pics.

i have been an amuse fan ever since i joined back in june of 2002. in fact i had ce28's on order in gold because of that car, and if i hadnt gotten a sweet deal on my then, top secret kit, i would have gotten the amuse kit.

I suppose I can't really go wrong with 19's. There only another 300 bucks.
The next question is then what colour are they, because the 18's look different to the 19's. I beleive the 18's are mercury silver, and the 19's are titanium silver. But then, don't they also have titanium gunmetal?

All the pictures look like they're 19s (and what I originally thought), but link in the article says 18". It's possible that either the article is out of date (looks like 12/2005), and as Andy and gunser have said, they have gone through several variations.

Another possibility is that for competition use, they utilize the 18s for lower unsprung weight, and 19s for display/showroom. The article sites they used 18x10.5" +22 front, and 18x10.5" +18 rear during Nismo Festival. I don't see the benefit of them using a 19" wheel since it would be the same width anways at 10.5" wide, so all it does is add weight. But maybe they have a stiffer sidewall?

FWIW, I would just go with the 19s anyways.
