I am trying to fit some spacers onto my front wheels of my 350Z (UK). I am using an Eibach kit - part 90.6.20.019. The problem I have is that the replacement studs I have do not fit.
The studs are marked as 12x1.25mm with 14.3mm Knurl. The studs I have with the kit have more splines/teeth than the standard stud (around 46 against 36) and they are also longer
Looking at the inside of the hub you can see where the splines stop and its smooth so the longer splines would prevent the stud going in all the way.
This picture below shows what the standard stud looks like (on the right) On the left is a stud which has similar splines to the ones I have except they are equal length - mine are longer as shown in the second picture.

Has anyone ever fitted studs with extra/longer splines?
Cheers
