Powercoating Lug Nuts + Wheel locks?

Powercoating Lug Nuts + Wheel locks?
This is a random idea. But had anyone ever powercoat their lug nuts? I just bought some Rays lug nuts in black and I'm interested in powercoating them into emerald green (Project Mu green). I wonder if I can do it myself. Any shop in MD/Northern VA could do it?

I don't think you would want to powdercoat them. Given that powdercoating is a great, durable finish, it does add thickness to the lugs because of the materials used.
If the powdercoat is too thick, you will run into problems getting the lugs on/off the studs because the wrench won't fit.
You would probably want to get them anodized instead. In reality, it's not worth it.
