Question Wheel Hop ?

Hey I just wanted to know if there is any way to make the wheel hop go away when accelerating hard. I've heard that possibly changing springs and shocks could reduce this or by beefing up the sway bars. What is your take. My friends Boxster with I believe similar suspension set up as our cars has no wheel hop, any one know what Porsche has done different to overcome this problem. Thanks for the advice.

That sounds awesome but if you don't mind me asking how are you accomplishing this. I am just curious.

and we also have a Z for a street car that is our mule.
Cant give away all the secrets just yet but........
We are working on it.
I believe we will have the best "complete" suspenion set up on the market.

Any time frame on this? I need to eliminate wheel hop and come out of the lights dumping the clutch.

i have JIC traction and camber arms, i have absolutely no wheel hop under full acceleration and even powershifting the car at redline. i wouldn't recomend JIC though, i would go with a cheaper solution. short story is they screwed up my order (which was pretty expensive at 1100 for 4 metal bars) and took 2 months to fix it and kept giving me the run around blah blah blah. there is a whole thread about it somewhere around here.

so to correct wheel hop you need a completely new suspension? seems a little excessive to me. I image this would also cure the porposing problem we are having as well?

is there any "smaller" fix or does it require everything to be replaced? exactly what is necessary?

thanks

actually, i havef the stock set up, touring, during the winter, i wheel hopped a whole lot, it was unbelievable, but now, on hotter days, 2500 rev launches are very smooth and all you hear is slipping tires, no wheel hop at all

so, maybe better tires would work out
