Default opinions please.. 19 inch 275-35..-vs- 275-30

I want to get the 19 inch...TE37...

Volks recommends ..275-35 for the rear. Other than Bridgestone S03 Pole's... nothing - and I don't want Dunlops.

Is anybody running the 275-30 rears and what is your opinion and experience ?

What he said!!!
Personally I would not reccommend 30's (I've had 2 set of them previously on my Lexus!) They are way too thin and subject to damage much easier than a 35.
I can not reccommend or praise the TOYO T1-S any more than I allready have! This is my 3rd set, and they are THE BEST....PERIOD!

In addition, that would be a mighty harsh ride.

TX, how are your 245/40 fronts holding up. Do you notice any affect on VDC?

Z E R O! From years of experience with "low profile tires" and obviously taking into consideration the 'effects' of my particular size choices for the Z, I have been COMPLETELY pleased. I'm talking VERY even tire wear, speedo is Accurate, ride comfort, and the infamous 'feathering issue' is hardly nil so far!

Ist of all - Your car looks awesome!!!! You had said that this is your 3rd set of the Toyo T1S tires. How many miles are you getting out of them?? Also, You said that the "feathering issue is "nil" with the Toyos. Did you have your Z aligned and the toe in checked before you mounted them on your car? Do you think that lowering the car had any effect on the ride or tire wear (feathering issue)?? Thanks for the input - I am waiting to get my 19" Volk GTC with Toyos T1S tires and just wanted to get some input from someone who has some experience with them.
Thanks again.

I want to thank all you guys for your great input. I will stay with my original plan for 35's all around...

Interesting...

TXSTYLE... the Toyo T1's are sold here under the name Trampio Vimode. No 35's are sold. Only 275-30 ... ???

VQ... Bridgestone top-of-the-line RE01 (sold only in Japan) go up to 18 inches only. No 19 inch. As a matter of fact... in there other lines here (Grid, for example)... only 275-30. The S03 PP's seem to be the only ones with 275-35.

Same for Yokohama... just came with the new ADVAN Neova AD07... but only up to 18 inches. The older AVS Sport... only 275-30.

AND TODAY... I just found out there is a major shortage of Bridgestone S03 PP's in 19 inch configuration.

In Japan ???? I don't understand how they can run into shortages not only in the US -- but also in the country where they are manufactured. Really puzzling.
