Hey, you did weigh these yourself right? When I had the ruff racing 279s, I was told by the seller that they weighed the same as stock. To my surprise, when i dismounted them to put on my volks, i weighed them and the fronts came out to 30 lbs and the rear over 32. your claiming 27 lbs, but you know what? the stock 18s weigh around 28lbs. now you really think larger and wider aftermarket "Ebay" rims would weigh less? I don't think so. Like I said, to each their own. the rims look nice but to some, the quality of the material and weight is very important. Thats all.

i agree with you about the quality of material but weight doesnt matter all that much in a straight line but it does when you track your car and i dont track my car i just drag so the weight of the wheels arent that big of a deal tom me. Like i said i raced my friends 350z with his stock wheels with my 19's and we had the same outcome everytime so to me it didnt make a big difference plus with my stockers could never grip to well with my 19's its alot better. As far as how strong they are they are pretty strong i accidentally ran over this median in the street their were no light on this street didnt put one bend in the rim at all.
