dremel to shave off fender,
has anyone used a dremel tool to shave off the inside of fenders?
Is there a reason why the nissan left the rears unrolled?
does the integrity/ shape of fender deteriorate on rolled/ shaved fenders?
planning on 295/35/19 with 18 offsets....

fenders rolled
you're right...
certainly don't want rust...however there are some feelings that shaving is better. can't imagine this as difference is minimal...or is there.

even a pro can crack it....
and paint will most likely ship off anyway.... paint just isn't made to deform that much, esepecially on a sharp edge. you can treat the edge with a clear coating that prevents rust. and the primer should stay intact.
but then there are guys that have rolled and the paint has been fine.

I've rolled my fenders using my Eastwood fender roller and torch and have no paint chipping problems. You just need the paint warm and unless your doing a pull its really not that hard. If you just need a small roll just use a baseball bat. And roll it between your tires and the fender. This works fine and if you use a wood bat avoids hurting the paint. Look at Freshalloy.com if you want to see how the 240sx people do it.
Cutting them also reduces the strength of the fender.

i had learned how to make use of the fender roller tool a few weeks back.
a friend and i did a 350z, g35 and a 330ci in one sitting.
once you do it one time, its cake. a heat gun (people are using torches too) and the fender rolling tool can give you the right clearance depending on what tire you are installing.
