Default Got a tire size question for you guys

My first thread heh

I got 9.5" and 10.5" rims with +22 offset all around and I'm trying to decide on some tires.

My question is should I go for the tires that I want even though they're not really the right size or go with a different tire that fits right?

The tire that I want to get are the Potenza re-01r but they only come in 245/35/19 and 275/30/19.. especially don't like that 30 series in the back..

And the tires that fit better would be the yokohama advan sports in 255/35 and 385/35. *hmm 285/35'z

Which tire do you guys think will perform better? Anyone have any pics of a z with 245, 275's on the same setup?

Thanks

Why do you want to go with Potenza's? Do you like the sound of noisy tires? I have the Toyo's T1R's (see sig) and I'm pretty happy with them.

Oh yeah, FYI- 385's will not fit!

Toyo's T1R's are great tires.

actually I do like my tires a bit noisy but not as noisy as my friends g-force kd's

I like that the re-01r's are extreme summer performance tires rated by tirerack >.<

and maybe the kinda streched look will look good...

I hear tons of great stuff on the toyo's and it's about the same price.

Do you think 385's will fit if i roll the inner and outer rear fenders?

I'm sure you mean 285's not 385's and unless you lowered your car, rolling the fenders is not necessary. I have Toyo 295/35/18 and have tons of room (I know you have 19's) so I'm pretty sure 295/35/19 will be alright. Is your car lowered at all?

MO...I don't like them. I think they are too soft. I am running 285s and I can feel them give at times. I'm not buying Toyos ever again unless I want something with a high thread wear rating.
