Has anyone actually tracked on the T1-R's? A lot of you are saying its not much of a performance tire but how many of you have actually driven the car hard enough on these tires? Ive tracked on T1-R's and they held up perfetly fine. You can deflate them about 10 pounds and get even more grip. If you are really serious about performance tire, look into TOYO R888.

I like the ride of the T1R, never had any problem with them.
if you want good gripping tires (don't expect it to last) then there's RA1 or R888

You could also replace "Veilside Body kits" with "Volk Wheels" or "Momo Shift *****" or "NOS Nitrous Oxide Kits".
My point is that, dude, you seem pretty bitter about the fact that lots of people have Toyo tires (which may or may not be due to their fame from the F&F movie series), but you're not calling out any of the other car part manufacturers that probably paid exorbitant amounts of money to be plastered all over the movies. Unless you did and I just haven't read your threads in the relevant sub-forums...
But more seriously, I can vouch at least for Toyo T1-R (245/35/19 fr and 275/35/19 rear) being quieter than stock RE040 Potenzas and offering a fairly compliant ride considering the sidewall size. In my opinion they grip suffiently for my spirited around-town driving. They were not as expensive as other options in these sizes. I have no experience driving the car at a track or in heavy rain, although they did fine in some light rain we had last week.
Sometimes lots of people buy things because it's the trendy thing to do...other times, the reason it becomes a trend is because a lot of people like that product. In my case, so far I am happy with this product.

I've tried many of the top tires out there. The Toyo T1R is def up there in bang for the buck. I've used them in AutoX, and wasn't too happy after the 1st run. However, on the street and in rain, I love them, so I would def buy again for street use.
