I think you just need a drop and maybe some body parts to compliment with your Volks. That seems like the case for most aftermarket rims anyway. The rims'd be too standing out, so you need some other parts to go with it. When I first put on my WORK Meister S1, I got flamed like crazy. People were saying my car looks like a boat, calling me ricer with nice rims and all that. But once I got a body kit on(I didn't even drop it yet), all the comments became positive.

I disagree on the comment on the kits. the Z looks great with or without a kit. As long as you drop the car, 19's will look great.You have to be careful not to overdue it with a bad kit. Stay away from kits that add extra lines, or take away from the design of the Z. The ings or nismo that you menion will work well...

+1 on the INGS (LX KIT for me) (my dream kit).
+100 on the 19s lookin good too.
I think that they fill the wells just enough, and are a better marriage of "show and go"
