Default 19 Volk Progressive TEs on PPW 07

Ok, I just mounted my Volks on the 07, and I think I'm crazy because I like the stockers better. Maybe it's the picture, because it's kinda gloomy out today, so I wanted to get some other opinions.

Which looks best to you?

I will tell you the stock wheels if you sell me the Volks!

I think the Volks look great. Wheels change the look of a car dramatically, so it might take a little bit to get used to it. Keep em on, they really do look good.

I like the stockers better. Although, I agree, wheels change the whole look of the car dramatically. Like they say, it can either make it or break it.

What's the offset of the Volks, I really do like the stockers, the Volks look somewhat like the '03-'05 Track rims! Like I said maybe it's the offset, because they dont look as aggresive as other TE's.

If you want a drastic change, then you need to get some nice rims with polished lips. You basically changed your 18" rims for the larger same type of rim...except its lighter and probably stronger.

They both look nice IMO but if I paid the amount you did I'd get something that'll make your car stand out a bit more. This is obviously all my opinion, others may want a larger more trackable wheel as awkward as it sounds...

That's what I was thinking. Some good ol' gunmental / polished lip LE37s. The Volks are VERY similar, but when I bought them, they originally went on my 04, so they were different, then

Thanks for all the input. I'm gonna leave them on for a while. They're also filthy, so maybe I'll like them more if they're sparkling!

Thanks again. It's EXTREMELY helpful.

I've got RSR Ti2000 springs. The passenger side sits higher than the driver's and it drives me CRAZY!!!!! The other side is perfect. Just got through reading thru pages and pages of threads on coil overs! I want to be able to adjust the ride height, for this very reason.

I think I might be selling the TEs for something with color / a polished lip.

Just get a large passenger to sit with you!

Aside from that, let me know when you sell the progressives.

I like the look of the stockers MUCH better. Not only that, 19s look like wagon wheels on the Z.

Absolutely not. The TE's look amazing on the car. I love the stockers, but the 19's look much better on the Z imo. You can't go wrong with either, but I will usually always lean towards 19's most of the time.
