Alright, so I think I'm gonna go with +20 offset and 35 AR. How about the width though? I like wide rears, so I was thinking 285. How about the fronts?

3/4 view shots showing the whole car, but close enough to see how the wheels/tires sit in the wheel well. Also, keep the front tires straight...no funky angles. Thanks!

Hey, so how come some of you are matching rim sizes front & back instead of keeping them staggered?

Wider is better didn't you get the memo?

I run 18x9.5 +22 on all corners because it is the recommended rim width for my tire sizes 265 Front, 275 rear.

Ive researched this set-up for a while now ...

Rota p45 Flat black w/ red lip

+20 is the best offset in my opinion and then get some spacers for the rear for a real aggressive look. The plus about going with 18's are your tire selection. I would go with Falken Azenis rt-615 265 front / 275 rear. This will minimize under steer that you get with a 255/295 type set-up.

I almost sold my real Time Attacks to go with this set-up just because I wanted to use 18's and better tires while saving some money for FI. I love my Volks too much to let them go tho.

Its still tempting to make the switch tho ... I payed more than twice the amount of this set-up for my volks/yokos .. yes my set-up looks perfect and I have the real deal ... I hate knockoffs ... but to save 2 g's and use it for FI just for a small diff in looks (maybe a big compromise in quality).... ahhh makes it difficult to pass up.

What's the weight difference between the Volks and the Rota'sin this particular model?

The wheels look pretty good. Nice choice.

Well the Time Attacks are 19" 9.5 front 10.5 rear widths and the Rotas are 18" 9.5 all around .... so you cant really compare them in weight.

I havent seen a weight comparison between the TE37 and P45R.

I have seen the Volk RE30 weight compared to the Rota SVN (copy of the RE30) The Volk was around 17lbs in 18x9 and the Rota SVN was 20lbs in 18x9. Thats really close.

That's a big difference when it's unsprung rotational weight.

This is wrong. The width is a constant figure measured in millimeters.

If a tire says 275/35/18 then the width of the tire is 275mm across. The 35 means that 35% of 275mm is the total height of the sidewall. So:

275mm(width) x .35(sidewall) x 2(two sidewalls when measuring tire height) + 18in(wheel diameter) = 25.6 inches(total height of a the tire)

The factory tires are 26.7 inches tall in the rear and 25.7 inches tall in the front. A rear 275/35/18 is nearly a full inch shorter than the correct size of 275/40/18 and will add ~5% more milage to your car's odometer every time you take a drive. Food for thought.
