Default fitment issue...

so i just bought a set of motegi touge wheels. 18 x 10 in the back and 18 x 9 up front. they already have tires on them. the problem is the back tires are a 285/40/18. i think i'm gonna rub. what do you guys think?

If you think they are going to rub, put them on and test fit them, don't drive on them bc if you got them at the Tire Rack, we won't let you exchange them. Is your car lowered? They should fit, what offset do you have?

it says +30mm on the offset. i didnt buy them new, they were used. they only have 200 miles on them. no my car isnt lowered. if it's a problem, i'll just put the front tires (245/40/18) back there and put new ones on the front.

They shouldn't rub. 285/40 will look pretty silly though, i can tell you that. I have 275/40/18s, on the verge of looking silly. Im running on 18 X 10 +18 and I just barely rubbed. With a +30, I doubt that should be any issue. 285/35 or 295/35 would be a better fit for that offset btw.

i got such a good deal on the wheels and tires i couldnt pass it up. they have sumitomo tires on them now. i've heard of them, just not heard alot about them. i think i might get kumho.
