Default Is it just me

I dont know if its all in my head, but when I bought my wheels and tires, you guys said it was okay. but from what ive been reading is that the best size for the front is 245. The sizes I have are 255F/275R. Is this hurting my performance in any way.

255's up front usually helps reduce understeer, so its perfectly fine. Most of the track guys run almost no width stagger if any at all

Really? No stagger at all? Shouldn't a little help to balance the steer problems that Z's are born with?

Something like 245/40 and 275/35 or 275/40?

Staggering the tire setups induces understeer. Having them equal creats an neutral balance. It really depends on preference. With RWD, you can have a better setup to your liking.

not exactly...sort of depends on how the rest of the car is setup, and what your driving style is

there are PLENTY of guys tracking their cars running staggered setups...it largely is personal preference and trial and error

You are fine with 255/275

There is no

Best wheel size
Best offset
Or Best tire size.

If there was everyone would have the same set-up.

all about weight transfer and the percentage of contact patches utilized to induce under or oversteer... too much contact patch biased to the rear will yield understeer and the opposite to oversteer. in a corner attack the weight transfer usually flows to the front due to a hard brake prior to entry, so the rear tires contact patch will lift for less patch while the front will press for more... so it's imperative to balance out the contact patches with a staggered setup of narrow front and wider rear. of course suspension and downforce play roles as the specs of a balanced handling vehicle is dynamic.

255 opposed to 245 won't drastically destroy the performance of your car... no worries there. as for myself, i went 255/40F on a 9.5 width wheel... but contemplating wider tires with a more negative offset, cuz i'm kool rike that.

Trial and error. If you have the money do a few different sizes to see what you like the best. I have a 245/40 275/40 set up now and I'll tell ya im going with a larger front and rear tire next time around. Probably 265 front and 285 rear. Than again that increases weight, but I think the better traction will prevailed.

Also you don't want to go too wide or narrow for the size wheel you have. Same thing will offset, a more agressive offset may only allow for so big of tire before things start rubbing.
