Question I know its been covered but... (Tires)

... What tires do you recommend? Since I just bought Rickdogg's Work S1's I need tires. I'm going to run 245/35-19 up front & 285/35-19 in the rear. I mean I love the BFG KDW and all but like to hear some other suggestions. Thanks.

EDIT: PLease link me to the tire's info. Thanks!

Considering I'll most likely do 12k miles in 9-12 months... No thanks.

Well I did price the PS2 from Tire Rack. Only $250 more total over the KDW. How's the tread life?

From what I can tell (had them for a year now, daily driver, including 4 track days on them) they hold up very good. I've got lots of tread left, only the outside edges of the fronts show any real wear. I saw the same thing with the pricing, the diff between KDW2s and PS2s was only about $250 on 19" 255/285 sizes.

The Pilot Sports are amazing tires. If you don't mind spending the extra money those are the puppies to go with.

^is that with aftermarket sway bars? Having swaybars really throws off wet handling.

I'm a bigger fan of 255/35/19 F and 285/35/19s rear. If you like BFGs you're in luck with the G-Force T/A KDW2s, but if you have the cheese go for the PS2s or Yokohama Advan Sports

I don't remember if the front sway bar was on at that time or not. I have one now and the body roll is significantly less than before, so based on that picture I guess it wasn't on then.

245/285 is too much stagger IMHO - better off 2ith 255 or even 265 up front and 285/295 out back

The 245/285 is what was suggested to me by Rickdogg.

255/35/19s are a better fit on a 9.5" wheel. 245/35/19s are pushing the applications max. Check it out:

Edit: No offense to Rick, I'm sure he knows his stuff, but when it comes to tires I would trust myself and some of these guys that chimed in your thread more.
