KEEP IN MIND, THIS IS MY DAILY DRIVER AND I WILL NEVER USE IT FOR ANYTHING OTHER THEN THAT..
I want to buy a set of Ray's G-games 99b's in Gunmetal for my Silverstone 2006 Enthusiast Z.
BUT, what difference's will I see between's 18's and 19's ride wise and performance wise?
What are the best bang for the buck tire wise also? I do 50/50 driving city and highway, and live in Florida so it gets very hot here in the summers and rains pretty often. I drive about 12-13k miles a year.
Also, will getting a 9.5 in the front and a 10.5 in the rear give me any noticeable difference? Will this make buying tires more expensive or difficult?
The whole offset issue also confuses me..

I hate to be a jackass, but I've seen about 7 threads on the "is there a difference between 18's and 19's" issue. People are going to be upset if you don't use the search function.
That said, for a daily driver it shouldn't matter. 19's are a little heavier and generally result in shorter sidewalls. This makes the car a little slower and the ride a little rougher.
You really have to ask someone who you're buying the wheel from about offests. The lower the #, the closer to the fender the wheel gets. This makes it look aggressive, but also risks rubbing issues. Somewhere between, say 25 and 15 should work, but the lower offests are riskier. I'd shoot for either 22, 20 or 18.
A bigger wheel, and particularly a wider tire, in the back is meant to reduce understeer (I think, or is it oversteer?). It's meant to prevent the back wheels from losing grip when you make a sharp turn at high speeds. For a daily driver, if you don't intend on pushing the car hard through turns, it shouldn't matter. It will probably just look cooler.
Also, if you are planning to push your car, a lot of people have had a great deal of success running flat setups -- i.e. same tire and wheel size all around. But, you might also consider 18's for better handling and weight reduction.
Tires, can't tell you. In LA we don't have rain. Just be sure you get a tire that rates well in the rain. You don't want to end up in the 350z section with a thread called "I flipped my car going 20 miles per hour, but don't worry, mommy and daddy are paying for a new one." If you buy lightweight wheels and tires, then you won't notice much difference in handling and performance going from 18" to 19".
Tires for 19" wheels are more expensive than those for 18". The choices may not be as great either.
If you go from stock widths to 9½/10½ wheels and associated tires, you will have a lot more grip and less MPG.

18's is the best bang for your buck... however, most of us feel 19's look "right" to the car's stance and bulking body. if money is a big issue, i say go 18's... otherwise, 19's are just as good. i didn't notice any harsh differences in ride between 18's and 19's and gladly slapped on a nice set of 19's for my ride.

Lightest ones you can find, too.
My A/M rims are 17's. They are lighter than anyone's rims on this board, and 17" tires are lighter, obviously, than 18's or 19's.

i burn rubber with turbos and 19" wheels/tires and i get similar mileage than you! kidding aside, i really don't know what to say.
just go 18" i guess... better safe than sorry if you go 19" and are not satisfied with the setup.

1. 18 vs 19 - comes down to : A. your budget (18's cost less than 19's both in terms of wheels and especially in terms of tires). B. Aesthetics - the 19's will, without a doubt, look better. To some that's as important as anything else, to others, they could care less. With a wheel such as the 99B, it would look killer in a 19 on the Z. With an 18, it would take the car being very very very low to look "proper" IMHO.
9.5 and 10.5 vs smaller sizes - the bigger wheels allow for bigger tires. Bigger tires means a bigger contact patch, which ultimately means more overall grip. For a daily driven car, this won't matter at all unless you go forced induction. That being said, again, the bigger sizes will look better (IMHO) than the smaller sizes.
3. Tires - lots and lots of choices, so again, comes down to your overall budget
4. MPG wise - I've had 17s, 18s and now 19s - my mileage has never, ever ever changed by more than 10 miles per TANK. If you do alot of stop and go, the mileage is going to stink...that's just the nature of the car. It will be especially worse in an auto

Thanks a ton sir. I have decided to go with the 99b in gunmetal 19x9.5 in the front and 19x10.5 in the rear with a +22 offset
