Default Wheel Spacer Recomendation

Can somebody tell me what wheel spacer size and brand I should get? I've seen many threads about wheel spacer, but I couldn't find any thread that related to my concern.

I have 07 Touring with stock 18' wheels and not lowered. I'm thinking about 20mm (front) and 25mm (rear) but not sure they will work. Will I have rubbing problem?

Thanks in advance.

wheel spacers are not needed for stock wheels, at all.

This really doesn't answer his question. And your opinion is just that. Don't try to play it off as fact. I actually plan on getting spacers for my stock 06 in order to get that flush look and slightly wider stance.

350Speed, I recently asked this question to a vendor that goes by the name of 'Auto RnD'. I told him I was planning on a 1" or less drop all around and wanted that flush look. He recommended 15mm front and 20mm rear.

However, if you don't plan on lowering the car, you could probably get away with 20/25mm.

Flushness FTW!

Thank you, Zeeanswer.

I think I'm getting 20mm for the front and 25mm for the rear.

Good luck to your setup.

You were the only one that mentioned anything about 'need'. The OP never asked if wheel spacers were "needed".

If you can, get hubcentric spacers like the H&R Trak. I installed 20mm in front & 25mm in rear on my stock '06 rims. I have a 1" drop & the tires are flushed with the fenders. My stock tires do not rub at all, and I've driven it on the track & autocross with the spacers.

Here is a picture of my Z (sunny day) with spacers on stock rims & tires (street setup):

You do realize spacers aren't needed, right?

Your car look very nice.

I just have one more question. Did you have to get alignment done after you installed the spacers?

Thanks.

No, you don't need an alignment if you install spacers. However, if you drop your car more than 1", I suggest you get an alignment to make sure everything is within spec.

I just installed H&R 25mm rear and eibach 20mm front on my 06..the reason i went with ebach 20mm front is that they were direct boltons just like the H&R 25mm, the H&R 20mm spacers you have to replace the studs. I bought them from mynismo.com..pm me if you need the actually part#'s..they look awesome..best mod for stock wheels imo..will post pics up this weekend..i installed a front lip too..

what you can do is take a ruler and measure from the outside wall of your tire to your fender, that will give you an accurate measurment of the size spacer you will need....just to be on the safe side, good luck bro.

Question

What is the distance between the outer edge of the tire and inner edge of the fender?

Hi all,

First of all, I would like to say thank you for all the useful information. According to Gooey, I shouldn't have any problem with 25mm all the way round. I already look into the H&R spacers and seem like they come in different series. Can somebody tell me which one I should get? Where should I get them from?

Sorry for asking too many questions.

Thanks.
