Default Need Help With Wheel Spacers

i just got my axis seven mods this week.. 20x10 and 20x9... the rear fits perfectly but the front needs spacers... i have check all over the forum. People say to use 20mm. I just want to know if anyone out there has a track model with axis 7mods in 20x9 offset is 37 and what size spacers did u use to clear the brembo brakes.

Watch_Out:
I have a G35 but I think the fitment should be basically the same.

I ordered received my axis se7en mods last week too but i have the 19x8 +35mm, and the 20x10 +38mm on the rear. The fronts did not clear the Brembo brakes at all and Axis is making me a 20mm spacer and I'm also getting Nismo extended wheel studs to have enough thread after the spacer.

I tried putting on the rear 20x10 this morning, and the wheel just barely clears the rear brake caliper by about 2mm-4mm with me just hand tightening the lug nuts <----is that about how yours fits?

This plain pisses me off. Your now the 3rd person who axis is making spacers for. I called, they told me they WILL NOT make or sell spacers (even though I bought there crappy offset wheels).

Please clarify....also what was the cost?

I also tried to buy some 15mm spacers the other day and the company was out of stock. They ran 96 for a set of two then 1.50 per bolt.

I'm really not sure of the specifics, as I got my wheels through a dealer for Axis and they're taking care of getting the spacers and extended wheel studs.

I am kinda wondering why Axis is selling wheels with the wrong offset and making us run spacers. what sizes do you have and do you have the brembos? i'm afraid b/c of the tight clearance on the rears that i will end up using 4 spacers.

Do you know if there's any negative side-effects of using spacers?

What dealer did you use. Once again, what is the cost associated with it?? If you dont know exactly, then what was the cost for the whole setup and I can figure it out.

If you have 20x10s in the rear they WILL clear the brembos. A couple folks are already doing it. The fronts will need 20mm.

I do not have the brembos but I would like to push my 19x8 w/35 offsets out further from stock configuration. There really isnt a negative effect if your only going 15-20mm.

PLEASE get back to me about:

1) cost
2) the person you bought from
3) who i need to speak to, to get these

Thanks man
Scott

I did consider the Axis wheels. But after calling them and having them be kinda rude on the phone about not making spacers I decided not to.

Yup, I should have my custom made hubcentric (to axis wheels) spacers tomorrow. The folks who make them FOR axis are doing it.

I did NOT order studs yet though...... I need some! Dunno if there are different styles or not. And if so, which one will work?

Really? You're going to already have them by tomorrow? I've been waiting 2 weeks. Well, they said they might be ready today but I haven't heard anything yet, so we'll see.

Not sure if there are different styles of bolts, i'm supposed to be getting the longer Nismo bolts. I'm sure a local tire/wheel shop would have them in stock.
