Default Volk GT-7 offset

What is a good offset for 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 GT-7 wheels for non-brembo Z?

Your question from a different thread...

A good offset for any wheel would be +18 to +25. In my case, I have +23F and +19R. Hope that helps.

ic, do you have 8.5/9.5 setup or 9.5/10.5?

I am thinking about 27 front, 24 back for a 9.5/10.5 setup. I guess thats should be ok right?

There's 2 different offset setup for 9.5/10.5

NonAggressive 9.5 +30 & 10.5 +24

Aggressive 9.5 +17 & 10.5 +15

both will also clear BBK front kit later...

Hey Brian, thanks for the response.

I was looking into the fitment chart from Mackin fot gt-7, the aggressive offset from your recommendation would give me the same size lip as the +27 front and +24 back. Can I go with that setup since the offset is less aggressive but give me the same size lip?

I personally wouldn't do +27 front, cause
A) it will not clear any BBk or OEM Brembo
B) alot harder to sell later if you decide to sell them,
C) Rays make more +17 or +30 so it would be faster to get..

Hey Brian,

Good point about the selling. I probably have to wait when I decide to order it anyway. I have been looking for the regular gold for the Gt-7, but not too many people have it.

Is there any rubbing issue with +17 in the front? I probably try to get +24 in the rear to avoid any rubbing problem.

I had 19x8.5+23 fronts 19x10.5 +24 rears. +24 rear gives you a true 4" lip and easily clears brembos.

I am running 20X9.5 with a 15 offset and a slight fender roll if that helps. My next set will be 10.5 and 10 offset with more roll if that helps.
