Default Help!!! 19" Volk GTS with Stoptech big brakes

I have Stoptech big brakes and like to run 19" Volk GTS. I don't want the tires to rub against the side fender. What offset can I use ?

He doesn't want to rub. +17/+18 will when running 285/35/19s and/or with lowering. Volk makes a less aggressive fitment at +28 or +30. Both applications should clear your BBKs because the pad height clearance on these wheels are high.

nothing a simple roll wouldnt fix. plus he may be looking for the big lip sizes. +28 or 30 is super conservative though.

I think he's also getting the offset confused thinking that he needs the +17/+18 to clear his BBKs. I have the GTS in +17/+18 and yes you will have to roll even at stock height to clear with 285s. AlvinHuyN has the conservative offset on his Z and they don't look so bad.

Thanks guys, right now I got my 19" GTS & tires sticking out 3/4" beyond the fender for the rear and 1/2" front. What do I need to do to get them flush with the wheel wells. they look nice but the car gets dirty too fast and little rubbing problem.

are you lowered? if you are just run some negative camber.

offset doesnt mean anything when clearing brakes...
you need a HIGH-PAD wheel...

Exactly!!! That's what I've been trying to say!! I'm pretty sure most of the GTS wheels shipped into the US are high pad.

In the common offsets for the 350Z, MOST of them happen to be high pad for the front... but you should never assume that...

Not entirely true, you still get a 4" rear lip with the +28/+30 setup that I'm running. I also didn't want to rub because I'll be switching to 285 when I need new tires, I'm dropped about 1.4 inch in the back as well.

Please excuse the snapshot pics - car's under a few big projects

Yes I understand that and I guess what I was trying to say is when I was searching around for my GTS all 14 vendors/shops that I talked to had high pad ones shipped in. My point is if the stock out there is still the same it's probably harder to find a set in mid or low.

+17 will clear front bbk np.... +18 rear will clear some bbk, if you want you can ask or go on Stoptech's site and download their diagram and have a dealer check for you.. Or if you want to ask a dealer that did it before Try Andy @ performance nissan, Rick @ Status or Marty @ Injected .. these guys sold alot of GTS before for all type of application so I think they would know what fit and what need spacer to clear...
