Default Average Weight on Deep Dish Rim

Hey i was wondering what the general wieght of most Deep dish rims that people buy for there Z's are. I was looking at the Black Koblenz Falken Rims but there almost 40 pounds per rim which seemed pretty damn heavy to me. Thats also a 19x8 an 19x10.5

The dish has little to do withy the weight. Weight is primarily a attribute of the manufacturing process with cast outweighing forged. If you are looking for bling, forget weight. Its not important.

Yes thats heavy and you will notice a decrease in performance. When it comes to rims you get what you pay for.

If interested in performance, look for 17-inch forged wheels.

Not sure how "deep" of a dish you're looking at, but to give you a point of reference, these are 19"x10½" Volk LE37Ts, with 285/35 tires they only weigh 46lbs. The lip is around 3".

I strongly suggest you read the article I wrote for Sport Z magazine regarding wheels. It is entitled "The ultimate wheel tech guide" & focuses on what actually makes a wheel a performance wheel & how to select a high quality wheel.

Look in Spring 2006 issue. You can find this by going to

http://www.cnwzcommerce.com/mm5/merc...ory_Code=BISZM

I hope this helps. Atually, the reason I wrote it was exactly for the type of question you are asking....

most multi piece "Deep Dish" wheels (generally these wheels are reverse mount as well) range from 25lbs and up in 19"... Average with fittments for the 350Z is around 28lbs for your standard volk multi piece wheels...
