I've read the tire pressure sensor thread, but im still confused..

The 2007 "base" model does not have the sensors in them or does it have a different type of sensors?

I'm not asking about the triple display, just the sensors in the wheels.

 

Correct. The Base does not have TPMS.

 

I find that strange as my 06 base has TPMS, which I thought was going to be required on all new cars at some point. From what I remember reading the 07 Z's don't show the pressure on the display like the previous years do, that being the only difference. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

 

All 2007 Zs have TPMS. As of 2007 there is no pressure display in the triple display though.

 

Side question: how do you read the tire pressure display? Is the left side on top and right on the bottom?

If I remember correctly, the bottom is on the left.
