Not enough to make a difference. It has more to do with the compound and tread wear which makes up how soft and grippy it is.

Fierce? I can think of several areas in my mod and maintenance budget to cut corners, but never tires.

I would return those tires and get something better. If they are slippy now imagine on wet roads. You can find some really good tires for cheap on ebay.

Return used tires? Yeh...ok.
+1 to david's comment. A car is only as good as the tires it has on.

the tires are high performance, but its the feel of them that i'm not to pleased with...
